Structured Cabling
Structured cabling is the least visible and most consequential part of any installation. Cameras, access controllers, access points and phones all fail in the same way when the cabling underneath them was rushed, and they all fail intermittently, which is the worst kind of failure to diagnose.
We design and install Cat6 and fibre infrastructure to standard: correct bend radii, correct separation from power, correct termination, every run tested and certified, every cable labelled at both ends, and an as-built record handed over at completion.
The work is unglamorous. It is also the reason a network installed properly still works ten years later without anyone having thought about it.

Chat with our sales consultantsNinety metres is the number
A copper Ethernet run is specified to one hundred metres total, which in practice means ninety metres of fixed cable and ten metres of patch leads at either end. Exceed it and the link does not fail cleanly — it negotiates at a lower speed, or it drops packets under load, and the fault presents as an application problem months later. Where the geometry pushes past ninety metres, the answer is fibre or an intermediate cabinet, decided at design time rather than discovered at commissioning.
Certification is not the same as 'it works'
Plugging a laptop in and getting a link light tells you the cable is connected. It tells you nothing about crosstalk, return loss, or whether the run will still pass a gigabit when the building is full and warm. A certified test measures the things that go wrong later. We certify because the failures it catches are precisely the ones nobody can diagnose afterwards.
Frequently asked
Cat6 or Cat6A?
Cat6 is sufficient for gigabit over standard run lengths. Cat6A is specified where 10 gigabit is required, or where the run is long and the environment electrically noisy. We advise per site.
Do you provide test results?
Yes. Every run is tested and certified, and the results are handed over on completion.
Can you cable an occupied office?
Yes. We work around occupancy and schedule disruptive work outside business hours where required.
